Challenge

Turn flat portfolios into navigable 3D worlds without asking artists to touch code, while keeping WebGL performant on every device.

Constraints

  • Real-time 3D that must degrade gracefully on mobile and reduced-motion.
  • No-code authoring for non-technical artists.
  • Commerce, private client links, and analytics in one surface.

Architecture

  • Next.js + a WebGL room engine with adaptive quality tiers.
  • Composable room/layout system driving lighting, motion, and pacing from data.
  • Edition/commerce + private-link access + an analytics command center.

Execution

  • Built the cinematic intro, portal navigation, and room composition studio.
  • Implemented editions, collector surfaces, and password-protected client rooms.
  • Instrumented dwell-time, selects, and revenue signals in a live dashboard.

Outcomes

  • A living product that reframes the portfolio as an explorable world.
  • A reusable 3D room engine powering unlimited gallery compositions.
  • A foundation for public world discovery and an artist community.
